The complete denture is an option when all the teeth are missing. Over time they become loose due to persistent bone loss. 

The partial denture is a better option it is more secure but in most cases it can be unsightly due to the metal clasps that retain them

Implant supported dentures are an even better option for the patient who has sufficient bone for dental
